The 16th Basis Soft Expo a four-day long event started on the 6th of February and ended on the 9th at the International Convention Center Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital to showcase local software innovations and explore global markets.
Bangladesh Association for Software and Information System organizes this Soft Expo every year and like every other year Infolink participated successfully in the 2020 soft expo.
President Abdul Hamid inaugurated The Basis Soft Expo where about 300 exhibitors showcased their products in presence of ICT companies, business personalities, key policymakers etc. Industries manager Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun and ICT Division Secretary N M Zeaul Alam were also present at the inauguration ceremony and spoke there.
The Soft Expo had 10 different zones such as Industry zone and Experience zone. The other sections were VAT zone, Digital education, fintech, software, mobile innovation, digital commerce. There was another section called the Project Showcasing zone were new innovations got their opportunity to showcase their talent.
Lots of university students were seen attending the expo and gathering knowledge about the software industry. There was also Business to Business (B2B) matchmaking sessions between local and foreign companies including from India, Sweden, Japan and the Netherlands.
Infolink Limited in a regular exhibitor at the BASIS Soft Expo and this year too we participated there with our new launch The Tracker Service and got a hugely positive response.
Basically The Basis Soft Expo is a common platform for all the Software companies to showcase their talent, products and bring it in front of the people. Also, the bond among the companies themselves and work for the future for a better tomorrow.
